video installation (2023)
居住在「未完」與「暫時」的城市裡，我以獨特視角劃出一條穿透物質的垂直線， 沿著這條線，觀看者的身體在虛實難辨的再造空間裡動態擴延、被動上升。推 開展場的大門之前，《我在12樓等你》像是一個疑問懸浮在高空中: 終有一天，我們都會尋找到上升的盡頭嗎?
這件作品在大繼藝文工作室展出，展場是老公寓所改造成的替代空間，我將作品安置在進門前的一個狹長且高聳的空間中，建築出高牆、樓梯與門，將此空間封閉，並透過影像無盡的上升移動，建造了一個虛構的電梯，回應我所居住的城市的景況。
In the cities of “incompletion” and “temporariness”, a unique per- spective delineates a vertical line that penetrates through matter. Along this line, the viewer’s body dynamically expands and passively ascends in a space where the boundaries between reality and illusion are blurred. “Waiting for You on the 12th Floor” is like a question suspended in the high altitude: Will there come a day when we all reach the end of ascension?
This work was exhibited in a group exhibition which was held in an alternative space. Here, in an enclosed space similar to that of an elevator, I projected a video work that imitates or simulates a fiction- al elevator that ascends endlessly. “Waiting for You on the 12th Floor” is a response to the urbanization and living situation in Taipei, the city where I live.
