趙若彤是來自台灣的藝術家、導演與藝術教育工作者，創作橫跨電影、錄像、裝置、表演與藝術出版。長期關注遷移、後殖民經驗與家族記憶，透過田野調查、非線性敘事與跨領域實踐，探討個體情感與集體失落，以及記憶、空間與關係之間的交織。近年將「工作坊」視為創作與研究的方法，重視跨領域、跨文化的合作與共同實踐，透過藝術與共同創作，探尋人與人、食物、環境及歷史之間的關係。
2025年獲台北藝術進駐計畫，於英國 Leeds 的 East Street Arts 駐村，同年創作計畫《遷徙餐桌》獲國藝會創作補助；2026年於泰國 Baannoorg Collective Art and Culture 駐村。其執導作品曾獲台北電影節提名、女性影展金獎、金穗獎最佳紀錄片及新北市學生影像新星獎等肯定。近年作品參與台灣、美國、日本等地展覽，包括2024年日本式根島「Art in Country of Tokyo」、2025年紐約 Thomas VanDyke Gallery「In Currents: Migration, Memory, and the Making of Home」，以及2026年國立臺灣博物館「氛圍地—影像建築」等。
Zhao Ruo Tong is a Taiwanese artist, filmmaker, and arts educator whose practice spans film, video, installation, performance, and artist publishing. Her work explores migration, postcolonial experiences, and family memory through field research, nonlinear narratives, and interdisciplinary practices, examining individual emotions and collective loss, as well as the intersections of memory, space, and relationships. In recent years, she has adopted workshops as a method of artistic practice and research, emphasizing cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural collaboration. Through art and collective making, she explores relationships between people, food, the environment, and history.
In 2025, she participated in the Taipei Artist Village residency program and undertook a residency at East Street Arts in Leeds, UK. Her artistic project Mapping Taste received a grant from the National Culture and Arts Foundation (NCAF) in the same year. In 2026, she was an artist-in-residence at Baannoorg Collective Art and Culture in Thailand. Her directorial works have received recognition including a nomination at the Taipei Film Festival, a Gold Award at the Women Make Waves Film Festival, Best Documentary at the Golden Harvest Awards, and the New Taipei Student Film Awards. Her recent works have been presented internationally in Taiwan, the United States, and Japan, including Art in Country of Tokyo on Shikinejima Island, Japan (2024); In Currents: Migration, Memory, and the Making of Home at Thomas VanDyke Gallery, New York (2025); and Atmospheric, Filming Architecture at the National Taiwan Museum (2026).
